I started playing on this server yesterday and I have 20hrs. It is the first DarkRP that I enjoy playing and I will continue to be active.
Past Staff Experience:
I am currently an Admin and Gamemaster on a Phase 2 SWRP server that gets around 20 people a day. On Crimson Web I was an Admin and Gamemaster for them as well, but I had lost hope in it. I was a helper on PGC SWRP for a week but due to too many active staff all helpers were demoted. I have also owned a lot of servers in my quote on quote "Gaming Career", managing active players and servers is not new to me.
Reason for applying?:
I want to apply because this is the very first DarkRP server that I enjoy playing. It is different from others for some reason and I enjoy that a lot. Usually when it's late and no staff are on people RDM a shit ton and FailRP a shit ton, my plan is to end that to keep players active at all means necessary. Gallant Gaming DarkRP has such a high potential to be one of the best DarkRP servers in Garry's Mod and I know for a fact that I could help it meet that potential. My personality has a great tone to it and I am an amazing person to be around. I like to have fun and I enjoy what im doing at all times. I have a very thick filter on things and love to make everyone happy, which is very difficult at times, which can be very hard to do as staff. I basically have a no bullshit policy. If im in an admin sit with a person who is taking everything sarcastically and not giving a fuck, im not going to waste my time. Which leads to the fact that will always tend to the players needs. If someone needs a staff member for whatever reason, I will most likely be the first to be there unless i'm off duty and there's a bunch of on dutys online. In conclusion, you will definitly not regret
What is your reason for applying?:
I personally see a lot of things that should not be happening in a DarkRP server which can easily be fixed by a simple talk. I have been in a few admin sits on the server and I feel that the current staff either doesnt go in depth enough or doesn't show authority. With myself being staff, I will make sure that the trolls and minges are non existant by showing my authority (not abusing) as a staff member, by being strict and thorough with my justifications. The key is not to be angry or mean at the people doing the wrongdoing, but to make sure that they understand the whole situation. This server has tons of potential and I know that I can help the server meet it incredibly with a few changes.
Why should we hire you over others?:
You want to hire me over everyone else because usually people want staff on servers to get more permissions or items or some stupid shit. I want to become staff because this is the first server that I enjoy playing and I want all players on here to be happy and to keep them coming. My work ethic is incredible, meaning if you give me a job to do literally anything, it will happen within the requirements that you uphold. I like to deal with things accordingly as fast as possible, hence my no bullshit rule. I know a minge/troll when I see one and dont plan to beat around the bush. If you're trying to find loopholes in the rules, fuck off. If you're trying to purposfully target/bully another player, fuck off. I dont want any of that cancer on this server and with me as staff, there won't be.
Tell me about yourself: My name is Devin and I live in the state of Wyoming. One of my favorite activities to do is sports, aside from video games. I won state pole-vault in 8th grade and ended up going to regionals for the 110m Hurdles. 300m Hurdles and Pole Vault my 9th grade year. I play JV for Football as well as Basketball and completely absorb myself into the sport once it starts. If I do something wrong, I will own up to it. I have a ton of integrity that a lot of others dont have. If I do something wrong, I wil fix it/make up for it. I know a lot of people say this because they want to feel special, but im not. I was diagnosed with OCPD (Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder) a few years ago. That being, if there is something I think is wrong or out of place, it will knaw at me and bug me until I either fix the issue or force myself to forget about it. This can be a good thing in a way, like how it's made me a perfectionist. If something is there to just be there, ill get rid of it. It must have a purpose or it'll be thrown out almost immediatly. In school, I strive to get the best grades. I am in my schools International Baccalaureate program, which is basically hardcore college prep for when I graduate. I'm not really sure if I should ramble on for much longer, but in all, it would be a pleasure becoming staff on your server.
